rumblings of an Ann Arbor movement to: Bring Brady Back... No not Tom Brady...
Brady Hoke...;)

Another site reports the Colts said "thanks but no thanks to inquiries from Harbaugh reps. Supposedly he wanted to bring nearly his entire staff with (minus the one guy who knows what he's doing [his DC]. The Colts reply indicated that they didn't feel comfortable having to fire Pep for a 2nd time and that they figure they can find a group with an 8 Win ceiling for a lot less money...;)

Another Ann Arbor rumor says that there has been an emergency BOT concerning the immediate need to double the ref slush fund so as to better influence away games and in particular Bowl games.

The entire Michigan entourage was flabbergasted at the inept way "their" refs allowed SC to get back into the game...

I really don't get the fascination with him. He's won but not won anything extraordinary. His actions are a side show that tends to cover up his lack of really good coaching ability. He gets by on name recognition rather than really good xs and os. He's also a huge control freak which is something that wouldn't fly with Ballard and Irsay.

I fully expect Harbaugh to leave Michigan soon and I believe he will end up in Oakland after they fail to get Gruden.

What great coach isn't a control freak? However, he does seem to be more of a California guy at heart. He grew up in Ohio, but graduated from Palo Alto HS. He's got that Bill Walton zen thing going on......

I wish Harbaugh all the success in the world...just not at Michigan!! There was a time that I wanted him in Indy, not sure now.

If he could get Andrew Luck's head screwed on again, I'd be for his hiring. The Colts problems are deeper than Luck, it's a big rebuild on the face of it!!

I saw a story today saying that the Colts are sitting on $60M of cap money. They also have the #3 draft pick this year plus other early picks. If Luck can come back they could be pretty good in a couple of years. This reminds me of how they got Luck in the first place (as I recall, a crap year when Manning was hurt).

and this info comes from where???

as to Harbaugh to the Colts, i have no idea how the relationship with Irsay was when he played in Indy, and i think what Luck and Gore have to say about him would carry a lot of weight.

if he stays, i think he will be successful at Mich, and if he did go to the Colts, that's great by me. (kills 2 birds with 1 stone).

This is my idea of humor. ;)

I'll put the above line in parentheses on my next attempt :D

what Harbaugh did at Stanford and the 49ers shows he's an excellent coach, but like Saban showed in his losses to Ole Miss, no coach is flawless.

I'm most perplexed by the amount of QB talent Harbaugh has failed to develop (& thus wasted) in Ann Arbor. Anyone who can turn Colin Kaepernick (however briefly) into a Super Bowl QB is someone who obviously knows QB-coaching/whispering, so how do all of UM's highly-rated QB's look so lost? Weird...

Perhaps Brandon Peters could fill us in.....

For the record, Harbaugh back to the Colts is, for me, a "meh; whatever" deal but then, so is Josh McDaniels to the Colts.

Well he has won just 2 more games than Hoke after 3 years and did not have to play ND or Alabama

Brandon Peters looked very pedestrian in the bowl game. I believe he gets beat out next season no matter who is coaching the team.

Not sure what they did to him up there in Ann Arbor but he's gone from a potential "lead you to a National Championship" guy coming out of high school, to a guy who'll eventually be forced off the team (after they keep him around as an emergency backup for a year or two)..., to make way for Harbaughs next "victim" at QB...
