UConn landed Australian guard Jacob Furphy for 2025 too. Wow it’s going to be interesting with McNeeley, Mullins, Furphy etc and who gets playing time etc. Seems crowded

not really. Hurley preaches team ball and the players have bought in. He's proven that he can not only win, his players all have a chance at enough of the spotlight to become 1st round picks. similar to how UNC used to be - heck, their 6th man was taken 2nd overall one year.
McNeeley could be a 1 and done. I would say if he's as good as many are predicting, that he likely will be.
That one still stings. It opened up the flood gates, propagating seeds of doubt.
It probably is hurting more than we know. Mullins is potentially a very direct example of the pain its causing.
This season is enormous on many different levels. We need for Rice, Carlyle, Mack, Tucker, etc... to play well, consistently get "good looks", etc... Both for on the court success, but also for evidence to combat what's causing the McNeeleys, Haralsons, Mullins, etc... to go elsewhere.
I'm still hopeful by the second half of the season Tucker will make us forget all about McNeeley. Has to stay healthy. I can see a more polished and under control, hopefully higher IQ Troy Williams. If that, could be a first rounder after a couple of seasons. I hope Rice, KC & Tucker all stay with Reneau and hopefully a skilled proven big man next spring in the portal.
