The reason is because Congress does what Israel/Aipac tells them to do like a pack of ravenous dogs. Dems and Cons in Congress are equally thirsting for a war with Iran.

1. These sanctions are a violation of the nuclear agreement. Iran has not violated a single term of the nuclear agreement. These missiles were not covered by the nuclear agreement. In fact, our ally and one of the guarantors, France has already declared these sanctions to be completely illegal.

2. They are much deeper in scope than missile related sanctions. They target the IRGC, which controls a significant % of the Iranian economy.

3. What exactly is the purpose of these sanctions? if the intent is to push Iran away from future missile/malign activities it will only do the exact opposite. We have a Congress who is purposefully directing us toward war.

Seems to me that today's tweets illustrate two possibilities:

1) His ego is so big now, that he doesn't think anyone is smart enough to get things done or,

2) Completely lack self-awareness -- you insult the one party (ie China) that you need help to solve your problem. Does he expect China to rush in now and help him out after being accused of doing nothing, 'just talk'? What does he think they should do to another sovereign country? Shaming or bullying a partner never works at work esp in Asia which makes you wonder what sort of billionaire business man is he?

All I can say is that the leadership in China just wont take him seriously -- will consider him just very immature/childish (despite his age) and untrustworthy. This is a problem considering that they are the 2nd largest economy in the world and possibly the largest in the next few years.

Trump's management style throughout his business career has been based on the carrot and the stick. It's all he knows how to do. He's never been a great dealmaker, not remotely. That was all marketing. Great dealmakers don't rack up lawsuits in the thousands nor endure multiple bankruptcies.

Because his simpletons think that "the carrot and the stick" is how the world does and should work as they had seen in The Apprentice.

Going through school these simpletons, most likely lacked internal motivation to do very much, so external motivators were all that there was to get them to do things.

Trump has no idea whatsoever how to get Republicans and Democrats working together let alone other nations. All he has to work with are threats, bribes and ignorance.

It's why the guy is so dangerous and not just to America but to the world in general.

Sam will propagate that processed/fast food is fantastic... just look at how healthy he looks. We have all been wrong. Thats what the new healthy looks like.
