Most of this was college age knucklheadedness but I get it. Troy's situation is more serious, and the fact that the team released him so quickly is not a good sign.

Crean chased the high National ranking players from all over the country and especially the Virginia, Maryland, and New York areas. I prefer Archie's Inside-Out recruiting strategy. There are culture differences in certain other areas of the country. I prefer more home grown Indiana players, and that is what Archie is doing.

unfortunately Romeo won’t sniff any real playing time for a couple seasons. Boston isn’t stacked, but they are top 4-5 in Weak eastern conference.

Romeo is a project, but also soooo damn young plenty on time to mature. Celtics are banking on the long term game for Romeo. No doubt he can be a nice 2nd unit rotation player next 2-3 seasons (not this season). In four years, when only 23, could be more or less. Can’t wait to see what he does.

And curio of Carsen Edwards future with Celts as well. Both have a lot to prove at NBA level

With Brown, Hayward, Smart and Tatum, Boston is pretty loaded at the positions that Romeo will play. If the Celts have to trade any of those guys to get a big then the door could open up for Romeo but his injuries probab;y has him behind until gets back to game speed on the farm.
