for Northwestern. Pretty cool for the Green family.
I think they’re just getting them both reps so they can give Thorson some rest for his knee.If Thorson is out for extended time, that team is in trouble. Looks jittery.
And there’s his nephew from Fort Wayne, who got away with PI but made a nice catch.I think they’re just getting them both reps so they can give Thorson some rest for his knee.

You can see the impact of so many new guys on defense for Purdue. Definitely out of position on too many plays. Their passing offense looks good but NU is way too good in the front 7 to run against.I would agree Larry. I think it was planned. Purdue’s defense looks a bit suspect but they are pretty good on offense getting the ball on the perimeter. Reminds me of high octane Wilson offenses with a defense leaving guys in wide open spaces.

It was definitely offensive pass interference. The receiver pulled the DB past him to create leverage. Bill Lemonier and the broadcast crew agreed it was a foul.Looked planned for sure. Trent looked nervous. Love the sewer grate around the edge of the field.
Controversial call on the potential OPI but the right call given the fact that the defender had no idea where the ball was but the receiver did and went after it. He did push but did not push a defender that was in the play. Had the receiver simply gone up after it over the defender, it would have been a dpi.
