Spoke to Gabe’s grandma after the game. Didn’t know who she was but she said right away “I’m Gabe’s grandma .“ What a nice lady. She was gushing with pride. Asked me if I had read the IDS article about Gabe, which I had thanks to Steve N. Also hung out with Cole’s Uncle who was too cool. He talked about Cole passing on the draft to return. One very common theme. They all really like coach because I asked them all. Glowing responses from everyone. Go Hoosiers!

Fun weekend for all.

Haven’t seen much said but I thought it was a very positive sign for Litwicki to come back and pitch and pitch well a week after he was pulled with some apparent discomfort at LSU.

He has the potential to be the closer in a strong situational bullpen, IMO.
