Did you ever hear the story about how the tradition of the Angel on top of the tree started?

A long time ago, Santa awoke Christmas eve morning to prepare for his rounds. He stumbled into the kitchen while Mrs. Clause made the coffee toast and eggs. Well Mrs. Clause is not the best cook in the world; the coffee was weak and cool, the toast was burnt and dry, and the the yokes were broken on the fried eggs. Seeing that the day was not off to a good start, he stomped to the toy shed to pack his bag only to discover that the elves had been partying, most of them were hung over, and the others hadn't begun to pack the toys. Taking matters into his own hands Santa grabbed his bag and starting stuffing the toys, the bag ripped and was useless. Gritting his teeth he yelled at the elves to find a new bag and get it packed immediately while he hitched up the sleigh. Seething he went to the corral and found that Rudolph left the gate open, the reindeer were scattered all over the North Pole, and the sleigh was buried in a snow drift. Santa just about had enough of Christmas as he tried to call the reindeer together and free the sleigh from its drift in the freezing and blowing snow.

Then the sweetest little angel dragging a Christmas tree walked up to Santa while he was shoveling and asked: "Santa what do you want me to do with this tree?"

Merry Christmas to you Noodle and to all the Coolerites.

Very nice. We were debating if we wanted to put up a tree this year because we moved to Penn. We ended up doing it though it won't be up as long......that is unless we just let it go to April.
Argh, the Assault on Christmas continues. :D
