Just read that UCLA is interested in hiring Tino Sunseri as their new offensive coordinator. We all know that staff changes are inevitable at some point for a thriving program. I just hope the timing really works out for us. I was always fearful that Shanahan may soon get a head coaching job, but I knew we could then promote Tino from within. Worst case scenario would be that Shanahan doesn’t get a head coaching job until after next year, but Tino is already gone before then (no one should blame him by the way). I guess it’s a whole lot easier to trust Coach Cig to figure this all out regardless of circumstance.
