Cook played on a terrific high school football team...
12-1, only loss was in the Texas State Class 5A championship round of eight to the eventual state runner-up. He is rated a solid 3-star safety by nearly every service except Rivals and his mates on defense included a 3-star CB commit to Baylor and a 3-star LB commit to Texas. They also competed as a top-notch 7 on 7 team in the offseason. Cook has played some high-level football and IU is lucky to have him.
