This article gives all the ticket information for the regional. It does indicate that tickets will be available at the stadium beginning at noon (ET) on Friday, the first day of the regional.

I tried that a few years ago and got turned away. Went to a local pub and was able to watch, but it was a wasted trip.

There are plenty of $15 seats on ticketmaster as of 11 AM today.

Still are at 12:45. I'm assuming IU will be the Home Team and be in the first base dugout for Game 1.
