Throwback Champion Crowned! Raquel Welch!

Raquel made easy pickin's of Elle "the body" MacPherson in the finals. In fact the lovely Ms. Welch was not challenged in any of her wins! I am a bit surprised but I guess a lot of AOTF'ers are old enough to remember her from their youth.

Thanks to all who participated and hopefully it created some discussion for a couple of weeks.

Since all of these throwback subjects are still with us, I have been kicking around the idea of a Throwback RIP tourny... ie: Monroe, Mansfield, Wood, etc.... there have been some classic beauties that have passed that could spark some discussion.

Raquel more than any woman I remember, was f'n hot for so long. Not looked good for her age, but "damn, I'd love to bang her!" hot, maybe in to her 70s! But definitely in her teens - 60s for sure. That's what registered with me. Elle looks great for her age (around mine: 54), but Raquel looked great for almost 15 years past that, and that registered for me, especially with this being "throwbacks".

Think she's 69 here... how ironic!

I've read a lot about the old Hollywood stars and the one who would have been the most fun to date and be with was Ava Gardner. She was gorgeous, great body and could drink and swear with the best of them and the best smile ever. Everybody seemed to really love her as a person, too.
