So I’m curious about the answers to this question. Yes, we’re all spending much more time at home with our loved ones but what has that meant for us. Certainly the opportunities for sex are more frequent then pre quarantine days, but I also wonder how much staying at home has had a negative affect on our psyche.
Honestly, staying at home has had a mixture of results for our family. We definitely have had much more quality family time (a positive), but the level of anxiety for each member has been thorough the roof (negative). So I’d say we’re having less sex.
The mental burden of our anxiety, along with my wife being a front line worker in the medical community has made it tough to be in the “mood”.
Maybe our situation is a bad example since my wife is a front line worker. I guess that’s partly why I ask the question to find out how your relationships are going.
I’m also not suggesting that less sex right now is a signal of a relationship on the rocks, maybe just a sign of the times. Thoughts?
