Thoughts on MSU game

Do we see a different starting lineup? Lot of discussion on this board about that, from trying to inject life i to starting 5, some players not doing that well, etc etc......maybe with the suspension we'll see something different
Attitude of the team....hope to see inspired play and fight throughout the game, not just 1st 5 minutes or so. We still can make the tournament and there have been glimpses where we can play well but much of an effect did the suspensions have on the mindset of not just those suspended, but the team as a whole. Will be interesting to see

Have not seen a different starting lineup all year so i doubt it. We could play inspired or we could lose by 30 it is anyones guess really. I will not be able to see the game so if we lose by 30 I guess I will be one of the lucky ones.

I could see us winning. MSU has looked bad as of late and we seem to match up very well with them. But they’re desperate and are playing at home with the much better coach. Should be a good game.

I highly expect TG in Kopp's position. Stewart at the 2 because he has a better 3% than Miller. Trey plays better D + RBing, better vision, passing and ball skills for added assists. Parker is beneficiary of those assists. I believe with Trey playing more minutes and being harder to guard adds 7-8 points to IU game score.

I have zero idea how we will play. If we can come our strong and get them on their heels, we have a good shot at a W. Looking at StAte this year and last, they do not seem to have that toughness that they normally have. They seem soft. But, you know what they say about a wounded, or cornered animal.

Did I say that? They do have the best coach in the B1G and that’s not debatable. Woody still has his training wheels on when it comes to college basketball. Home court is the biggest obstacle here.

I'm hoping CMW is asking the team for 40 minutes of angry defense to make up for NW. I think that will give us a chance.

Actually, I hope he's not asking them. I hope he's telling them anyone not giving that is getting buried on the bench. Time to take the gloves off.

Yes, Sparty hasn’t been as consistently hard nose as in past years.
