Prego wife and my family in town so had to miss the game, but was able to watch all of it in my man cave...
Thought FIU was very well coached, they had a great gameplan.. not a bad team overall...big physical WR and a very physical defense...
I thought our defense, while giving up quite a bit of yardage, looked decent... D-line didnt get pushed around, young secondary had some problems lining up, etc...that was easily readable and FIU executed against..
We are much better when Howard is in the game... too much of Redding...need more Howard...
Some questionable offensive play calling....4th qtr, get ball back up 7 and first down is a pass play..next play Redding for short yardage..3rd and long in less than a minute..... give the damn ball to Howard and pound it and use some clock!
Love that after 2 games the young D has shown up at crucial points, both weeks I had worst case scenarios and a bit of the here we go again mentality for a young DB to make a huge play...
Excited for next week....I'll be there... Go Hoosiers!
