It's felt like 3 weeks. I really am hopeful CKW has been holding back some on the playbook for O$U. Don't care about the weather, can't wait to get there.
I think CKW has been holding some back. Win or lose, I believe every Hoosier player and coach will leave his heart on that field Saturday. My glasses may be crimson, but this team simply has a different feel to me than IU teams of the past 20 years.
thus far this year I haven't seen nearly as many draws yet. passing game has been real simplistic...as basic as it can get. with only a handful of downfield attempts.
id suspect offensively the Hoosiers will start off running the first series or two and then open it up a bit with a few chances downfield. as always hell throw a lot of screens to the wide outs. to me the key is not allowing OSU to stack the line and keeping them wide on the strong side. that will open up the weak side pitches that Tevin used to run so well. which also...by my count we've only seen once this year to Howard.
defensively I think the Hoosiers have been as aggressive as they are ever gonna be...its burned them a few times but overall its been good enough.
all that said if the Hoosiers are gonna win this game they need to get at minimum + 2 tds off of special teams. blocked punt or return setting one up...a conversion of a fake that leads to a score...force a turnover on one...do that and we will be in this game.
