right now only Wall St controls 60 plus senate votes, and has no intention of giving up that monopoly.

The true idiot is schumer who allowed a vote to blow up the filibuster Mark Kelly is now finished in Arizona.
Chuck is worried about getting primaried by AOC. That's the reason for this.
They are all a bunch of hypocrites. If I was the Republicans and took over the senate the first thing I would try to do is change the filibuster. That way it would show the American people what hypocrites they all are.
If either side was really interested in anything except power and wanted to change the filibuster they would pass new rules and make the rules effect Jan 2023 because neither side knows who's gonna control the senate then.
Yeah I have heard that is his main reason and he knew it had no chance of passing. But even so he likely cost Kelly his seat and probably Warnock also though I think he would have lost anyway. They are both now on record as being for ending the filibuster and that is not going to go over great with Independents in Arizona and Georgia. Sure the dem voters love it but there are not enough of them to push either over the finish line.

There are tough races for Democratic Senators Kelly, Warnock, Hassan and Masto.
These will determine if the Democrats have a 50-50 split or lose control of the Senate
GOP likely ends up with 20+ seat majority in the House and 2 seat majority in the Senate.
This cycle is much worse for Democrats than 2020 where they lost House seats and underperformed in the Senate races
