Coming up big again, especially in the 3rd quarter. Great time eating drives in the 4th.
It's about depth and adjustments. Conditioning didn't appear to be an advantage for IU, no one plays vanilla as a strategy of not showing your hand, and Wilson's refusal to take points almost seems to be a death wish.A few theories:
(1) We have the same quality athletes that the other side does, but we have them 2 deep instead of 1.
(2) Better conditioning.
(3) Our coaches are great at making half-time adjustments.
(4) We play vanilla in the first half so the opposing coaches can't scheme in response to our "A" game, which we pull out in the 2nd half.
(5) We're simply learning how to win games that we otherwise could lose.
I dunno what the deal is, but we're 3-0 going into Wake . . . I'm happy.

They seemed okay during their length of the filed drive that closed the gap to 3 points late in the 4th quarter.I'm sure WKU's cramping QB and gassed RB would disagree with you.
If my math is correct, that is 44-0 that IU has out scored their opponents in the 3rd quarter. Wilson and company doing much better job at halftime this year.Coming up big again, especially in the 3rd qua rter. Great time eating drives in the 4th.
