Chan participated in the Miss Chinatown USA Pageant in January 2009 in San Francisco, where she won the TVB People's Choice Award. She has also participated at the United Nations Pageants International in July 2009 in Jamaica, where she has won Miss Congeniality, Miss United Nations China, Miss Photogenic, and Miss International Ambassador 2009.[14][14] She is also a semi-finalist in Miss Hong Kong 2010 but withdrew from the contest for personal reasons
