Got replaced by Loyola who gave 102 to Northern Iowa. This is what irritates me when 2nd and 3rd teams in nobody conferences get in over real conferences. Loyola would literally be last in the B10 this year.

Yes, there are a lot of P5 teams that don’t make the tourney that are much better than all of the 15/16 seeds. The tourney selection is not necessarily about getting the absolute best teams into the tourney from top to bottom.

That is one of the reasons the Dance should be expanded to 96 teams. The "blowout" rationale makes no sense to me, as the #1 seed would still play a cupcake, just as they do now. It would add more "play in" games and would allow more nonPower6 teams in, without penalizing the Power6 teams. How about 20 midmajors and 8 more Power6 teams in the Dance. I like!

Lunardi still has us in. There's a good chance we play Rutgers or atleast somebody decent in the first round of the B1G. Win the next 2, and first B1G game, and I just can't see being left out. That's a lot of ifs, but I think winning the. Ext 2 would do it.
