The worst thing that could happen.

Make the NIT Tournament.
Worst case scenario if IU does not make the NCAA Tournament, which is still better than where everyone thought IU was heading 5 games ago. Beat The OSU.

And much below the predicted and reasonable expectation of being a 5 seed or better in the NCAA tourney early in season.

I cant believe the dipchits that seem satisfied w the NIT...

Considering the injuries and the losing streak, 5 games ago everyone thought IU was 1 to 3 years away from ANY postseason play

So, just for the sake of argument. Say IU loses to OSU and gets an NIT bid. Since really the primary "good thing" that comes from playing in the NIT is getting young players game and tournament experience as well as extra practice time, do you sit Romeo for those games? (leaving out the "would he want to play in them?" factor).

Im rooting for and expecting IU to win.
It has been fun to watch IU score the last few games. I think IU outscores Ohio St today too.

I was not enjoying IU losing so often, scoring in the low 50s.

I did not see anyone predict the string of injuries that occurred this season either.
