January 18 was the last day a player could enter their name into the NCAA transfer portal until after spring practices. The portal reopens on May 1 for a 15=day window.
So all the players available to sign right away are in the portal. My guess at this point in the academic calendar that anyone added will likely stay at their current school until end of term and it's unlikely they will be available for spring practice. There may be some exceptions for guys at schools with winter terms and what not.
It also means that unless someone from our squad has entered the portal, they're likely on board through end of school year.
