This was done away with for the future. This cost will not only 7000 jobs but several other jobs. It cost Canada 1 billion dollars. By doing this he will drive up the price of fuel. This will be an immediate hardship for the rural areas. Down the road it will play into the jackasses hands of doing away with fossil fuels , The open borders bullshit is nothing more than getting more jack ass voters. You all have a good day.

Lol has nothing to do with price of fuel. Plus, those jobs will easily be made up for when work needs done on renewable energy sources.

Why not do a little research before you show your stupidity.

In addition, the initial job loss of 7-8 thousand UNION pipefitters is accompanied by an estimated 60 thousand new jobs and ancillary employment related to the pipeline.
The UNION representing these workers ENDORSED #FakePres.

ANY research would result in you being once again exposed as an undereducated bedwetting liberal with no understanding of petroleum economics. The lost $Billions of investment, tax revenues and salaries and wages resulting from this will be recovered by increased taxes on motor fuel, excise, use, lodging, everywhere.....levied against other workers. You say renewable energy sources? Like Solyndra? Like wind power, which has been a money-losing industry since day one. Like battery driven vehicles, relying upon nicad rechargeable batteries. Even study the environmental impact of a nickel plant?

Let's say you are correct (you're not)...when do these jobs start for these folks?

He literally said that he wanted to elimate oil and coal industries and move move to more clean energy.

Why is anyone surprised?

It's been a rough couple of weeks for the QAnon faithful and the radical right. They'll need to vent for a while.

Like wind power, which has been a money-losing industry since day one.
You forgot to mention that it causes cancer, kills all the birds and lowers property values. And if the wind doesn't blow during the day, you have to tell your wife at night: "We can't watch Tucker or Sean, darling - - there's no electricity in the house."

They can't pretend to care for birds though since trump took away protections of migratory birds.

The more expensive gas is, the better.

Since they don't know how to post up pictures, I will do it on their behalf:

First off there isn't a pipeline now this doom and gloom on its impact of our petroleum is a little speculative.

Like when we don't get a recruit and people think it's the end of the program. No, there will still be petroleum.

The question fifty years from now is what do you want to bank on?

Talk to the youth, it's their future and they overwhelmingly want clean energy.

The argument on jobs is that by moving to clean energy will crate ten times the amount of union jobs...so what would the unions rather have? 11,000 jobs or 100,000 jobs?

This argument kind of reminds me when Romney was hammering Obama on his navel ships, said we didn't have as many as we did fifty years ago.

Obama answered with 'that's true, we also don't have as many horses and bayonets either'.

wow, just wow. you don't care about the working poor. they need gasoline they can afford. Have you ever lived where $75 a month means you can buy bread and milk? It is hard for a lot of people who are trying to do the right thing. What are you Maria Antoinette who said, "Let them eat cake"?

Why was it necessary to eliminate jobs at this time?

Are you still charging 10% tithe during Covid?

At some point, especially as supplies diminish, people will realize that it's more important to save petroleum for continued use in medicines, pesticides, herbicides, fertilizer and air travel rather than for ground vehicles.

It sucks, but this was part his platform that he ran on. He won. He said he was going to elimate oil and coal. He is doing that. He gets to implement his policies now. They are union. They will get different jobs.

You make a living by leaching off the working poor, while providing no tangible benefit. So until you decide to get a job you might want to keep your head down, mouth shut so no one notices you're bleeding them dry.

There’s a reason Van refers to them as his flock. He shears them regularly.

Within the union? Isn't that what the union is for?
Just because it’s a union doesn’t mean that it miraculously has jobs lined up. If there’s no work there’s no work. Union is meaningless. When Chrysler left Stl those union workers weren’t just divined new work by virtue of being organized. Many moved on to other careers. That paid far less.

Do we know that to be true to the situation?
