The Dead Man Fund: How the world’s worst investor fleeced clients who couldn’t complain

Saw this in Matt Levine's column the other day and found it to be interesting and a good demonstration of why some level of government regulation is necessary. Unfortunately it is also another example of why the SEC and other regulators seldom do their job effectively when it comes to protecting investors.
