There are at least nine head coaches in college baseball that are compensated at least $1 million or more each season. As you would expect, the big time salaries are where the warm weather schools are at with Louisville being the one "northern" team that pays it's head coach, Dan McDonnell, $1.1 million per year. I would assume they pay the rest of the staff pretty good there also. Here's a pretty interesting article on the subject.
