I just watched the last 5 minutes of the Rutgers blowout of Michigan St. on the B10 network. Three things came to mind, 1. The b10 is tough this year, top to bottom. All teams, even Neb.maybe, are capable of beating each other and all would be good enough to win a game or 2 in the NCAA tournament. 2. You have to have star power, someone to take over a game. When Harper and Baker both get it going for Rutgers they are hard to beat but they aren't consistent stars. We don't yet have that player/players at IU. Give us Ivey and we would be a really tough out. Hopefully it is coming and you never know who that star will be. 3. The 3 point shot has changed the game, more so every year it seems. Teams with good 3 point offenses came score 9 points so fast it makes your head spin. Just some rambling thoughts from an early February bored old fan. Go Hoosiers. Turn it around tonite.
