I told myself this at the beginning of the season just for collapses like this.I feel like a complete fool just for having cheered for a team up 52-27. This game teaches me to never care again.
One coach rallied his team from a 25 point deficit on the road...the other coach blew a 25 point lead at home...it comes down to coaching, fellas, and Kevin Wilson is not a good one...
Glass was at Henke Hall spending most of the second half playing with his grand daughter....hope he heard all of the alumni screaming about how many bad coaching decisions that we all were watching....That was the final nail for Wilson.
Completely unacceptable. Only Wilson could blow a game like that. You cannot keep this guy if you are Glass.
Get off our board if you're not going to bash Kevin Wilson...jk...Maybe, but as a Rutgers fan, our message board was having a meltdown as we saw our team give up 4 TDs in a 10 minute stretch, saw our best player get hurt. Even on the final drive, our fanbase, myself included, questioned our staff playing for a FG.
I'm not going to judge your coach, but I can definitely understand how you guys feel.
Doug I agree about Toth and the snap but we played slower and more methodical on offense imo once we were up by 20+. Toth has to fall on that and not try to pick it up.
Did we have any timeouts left? If so why didnt we try to ice their kicker?
Most disappointing loss in a long time. I generally dont get to pissed about it but this game has me really irritated

Yeah, but that was a close game. Would you rather lose a 3-point game or give up a 25-point lead in the second half?
They sure didn't help matters one bit. They hurt IU a great deal. You guys are foolish if you think the interceptions lost the game. The defense lost it.
They did that earlier in the year when they had Howard in the back field. Redding is unable to get you a yard or two in tough situations does not keeping driving and goes down usually on first contact.Pass for show, run for dough. When you're up 19, you run the ball, take time, and don't throw stupid interceptions to put your so-called defense right back on the field.
All Wilson knows how to do is a quick-strike offense. He's not well-versed in time situations. Having a four-minute drive can be a very effective weapon. Having several could have iced this game (even if they don't produce a score). Having drives that take a minute or less (even if they produce a score) hurts you because you march a tired defense that's not that good to begin with right back on the field.
The whole team gets credit for this choke--the scheme and the execution. And right now, I'm in favor of the team's execution. It's now officially hoops season.
