Gotta say, I saw a lot of positives from these guys on this wasted season! I hope they dont look into transferring! Im excited for them next year especially if TJD returns! Notice I left Lander out! Im not close to being sold on him!

Galloway has a ton of potential! He needs to get bigger/faster/stronger though and get rid of his passiveness! Needs to take more shots and our offense needs to run through him! I dont know if or why AM was holding him back! He can be a Will Shehee style player!

Leal could be our best 3pt shooter but needs to find a way to stay on the floor! I dont know why he was always just standing on the opposite side of the ball on offense just waiting for the ball! Again what kind of offense was AM running? Leal needs to get off the ball screens to get open shots! Ofcourse his Defense needs a ton of work too!

Geronimo, I can see turning into a good post player! Love his hustle, just needs to put on a little muscle and work on his midrange shot! Can be a great 6th man next year if TJD/Race/Brunk need rest! Reminds me of a young aj moye!

Im excited for these guys future, mix them in with a few top portal players for next year, where there will be a ton of great(all-american type)players available, plus a coach that is competent, the sky is the limit!

Geronimo is one of those guys who has all the raw potential in the world. All he needs is a coach who understands and has experience in developing players in order to reach that potential. I'd love to see what a guy like Eric Musselman could do for Geronimo.

Geronimo: Ilove this kid. I would have given him far more minutesthan Archie did.
TG: He needs to hit from three and midrange. Not just drive.
Leal: Agree he does not seem to move much. Maybe following orders? Alford was great at moving without the ball to get his shot. Leal should watch some old tape.
Lander: Disappointing first hear, but how much of that was Archie and how much was no team chemistry?
All four need to work hard - nutrition, film, weights, gym- to have an NBA shot

on lander, some of it was also likely him being on the young side and needing another year to mature physically

Geronimo kind of reminds me of Moye - undersized but athletic and scrappy forward that plays with no fear.

At this point, they are mostly potential which is typical of freshmen. So far, none of them have shown the ability to shoot, which will continue the recent trends. Galloway looks like a glue guy. Lander looks like a high school senior - maybe he shouldn't have reclassified.

Wow !
I was super disappointed in all of them.
Galloway of the four might end up being decent.
Yeah I expect freshmen to be Yogi or Cody..
Indiana fans want to win and win big..You need to be able to ball ..Day one !

You don't watch much basketball do you, just IU and maybe a random game?

Watch any game in any league and look in those corners then come back and ask why is there always some guy standing in the corner?

The best way for him to stay on the floor was not being a freshman behind a veteran backcourt.

It’s not a motion dominated game. You have a shooter on the weak side. That’s his job. SMH.

Are you screwed up, give Arkansas another great athlete? I am sure Woodson can make him NBA ready!

Apparently Texas has contacted Geronimo. Arkansas (not on list), A&M, and Texas don't fit the presumed agenda that he needs to play closer to home.

Need a big out of the portal, I can almost 100% guarantee that Brunk has played his last game here or anywhere. Back surgery takes forever to recover from just in daily life for anyone, much less being productive again on a D1 level, just not going to happen

Agree we need a big from the portal. Someone who can step in and play.

Geronimo’s mother wants him back home. Said they let him choose last time

He has been around the team and Woodson. Probably will be back

You have no idea why a 3pt specialist would set up opposite the ball? And you think the offense should run through Galloway so he can shoot more?

Nice take

After Woodson took over he plainly said that he’ll take stock of each player in the portal and be honest with them about how he sees their future. Well, obviously Lander is in his plans, but is Geronimo? I would love him back - he has great potential and can be coached - but will his development be hampered by fewer projected minutes in the Woodson style of play? Also the lack of a longer preconference last season especially hurt the freshmen too.

He’s (Geronimo)perfect for Woodson style. He’s versatile, looks to be able to guard 1-3 maybe even a small 4. He can shoot. Take guys off the dribble. He most certainly figures into plans if he wants to be here.

Interesting - I agree he can guard and rebound, but I didn’t see the shot whatsoever - hard to remember a single one outside of point-blank range. And putting the ball down on a dribble-drive? I hope you’re right.

I think he was 4 for 10 on 3s. I believe it was one of the Purdue games during garbage time he looked very comfortable handling the ball and pulling up from range. Obviously with the Brunk injury he ended up playing the 4 mostly for us this year but looks like a natural sf with elite athleticism to me.

Shit, Galloway needs to take shots first.
Galloway needs to MAKE shots if he’s going to take them. One thing that seems clear. If you make shots, you will be expected to take them. If you can’t make them, you better bring something else to the table to help the team win, or you will ride the line.

He’s got the ability. He took multiple shots in a few games and isn’t afraid. He’s a lot of upside. Good size and quick.

Regarding Geronimo, great potential, but very, very raw. While he did make some 3's, hits FT shooting was terrible. He missed a bunch of bunnies inside as well. The question is where does Geronimo fit into Woodson's plan to win now, not rebuild? How quickly can Geronimo contribute to winning. I think he can help and given time and a good coach of fundamentals with effort could become a really good player. But, like all of the guys in the portal now, if he/they are not smart enough to see the advantages of staying with a coach that clearly knows what it takes to get to, and succeed, at the next level then maybe they're not going to be smart enough to play at IU.

He fits in incredibly well because he can switch 1-5. I’d like to see him come back because I see a future pro in him.

All three need to work on dribbling (especially Geronimo) and shooting (especially Galloway). None of them can create their own shot. Leal and Galloway aren't very athletic. Geronimo has the most potential.
