watched the end of Texas Tech v TCU last night great game and a great crowd., with those 2, then throw in Texas, Baylor, Texas A&M even SMU has been decent lately the landscape has sure changed in the last 30 years. back then UTEP may have been the best team in Texas. the SEC is just not UK anymore everyone tries to compete at a high level.
Starting to come to the realization we will probably never be an elite program again. the competition is just so much better than what it used be during RMKs run. and recruiting a kid to the Midwest isn't the easiest thing do with so many options down south, the west coast, major cities etc that are appealing to today's kids.
the Big 10 sucks this year, after watching a few out of conference games this week, Purdue only team that could possibly do anything.
