I’ve been meaning to ask you. Are you an agent of the Chinese government?

Fauci may very well have been too conservative in his early approach to the virus, but that doesn't change the fact that these criticisms of him take his comments wildly out of context. When you listen to the entire thing, he was clearly saying something more along the lines of, "We need to keep a close eye on this, of course, but as of right now, it is not a major threat to Americans."

Again, in hindsight, even that may have been wrong, but it's still quite a bit different than what he's actually being accused of.

I heard an interview with Dr Fauci last night. He was asked about the January interview. He said at that time he believed the information China was putting out. That information turned out to be bogus. Therefore I agree hard to assign much blame to him. He relied on the word of the Chinese which hopefully he learned a lesson and so did Trump and others.

When this is over it would be nice to know what Dr Fauci and others did between H1N1 and now to get ready for another Pandemic and what are they going to do differently to be more prepared for the next one.
