He would never play QB on Sundays at 5'11". Have to believe they will still have an offensive package for him. The state championship was embarrassing for Penn and just goes to show how much more talented the MIC is. A couple MIC teams at least kept it real. This kid could shred many a defense even at the college level so hopefully there is a door still open there. That said we now have 2 QB's again at the end of the year...Then what?Love this guy's attitude ("wherever Coach Allen needs me, that's where I'm gonna be"). And, as a practical matter, I've got to think that his chances of playing on Sundays are better as a defensive back coming up in Tom Allen's system than as a 5'11" QB.
That was my point. It happens (e.g. Russell Wilson) but it takes a special talent. He would never play QB on Sundays at 5'11".
Then what? Tom Allen continues to recruit the position. He scored a 4* in Penix. Looks like Allen's got this. That said we now have 2 QB's again at the end of the year...Then what?
He fits in a wildcat QB or RB package for sure.He would never play QB on Sundays at 5'11". Have to believe they will still have an offensive package for him. It wasn’t too long ago that the Hoosiers finished the season with no legitimate quarterbacks returning. Two quarterbacks now seems like luxury. He would never play QB on Sundays at 5'11".
