The road had been closed for 2 hours, moron. Leave it to you to take the side of a guy plowing a semi into a crowd of people. You're a piece of garbage.

protestors rights should not be unlimited, and should be directed at those they have a grevience with.
not just anyone who gets in their way, in the same "might makes right" mentality they accuse cops of..
one person's right to protest doesn't supersede another person's rights.
when people go looking for trouble and find it, that's on them.
The truck driver was in the wrong place at the wrong time. He got onto the freeway shortly before it closed. And then he found himself on the bridge with no idea what was going on and he probably panicked. Fortunately nobody was seriously hurt.
Hopefully things will transition towards healing. Until then there is a huge potential of continuing tragedy.
