Bates is ranked #56 in the 247 composite and Duncomb is ranked #74. This is the quality of player IU needs to attract to win at a respectable level.

Watching his highlights.....57 seems too low. can really handle the ball, shot making skills near the basket, has easy range on his shot, has a reputation for playing D, shot 44% on 3s, 88% on FTs, 58% overall from the field.

He'll need to get stronger....doesn't have AF's strength......but his ball handling & passing is better than AF, I think.

The one thing about Franklin is he was a physical specimen. Archie said he was the best conditioned guy on our team last year and it wasnt close. He will average 35 MPG at UVA. I have no doubts he will be all ACC as a senior, but hopefully IU will be doing its thing and we can just be happy for him.

Wait, Purdue people are insisting this will be a huge bust hiring 63 year old Woodson. He can't possibly recruit and attract talented kids to come to IU, right?

Glad I waited. keeping expectations in check for now, but gotta be honest, for the first time in many yrs, I'm actually looking forward to next season, and beyond.

I like this player. He's got a frame that can put on some more muscle. By the time he gets to Bloomington I bet he will be bigger and stronger. He has a good stroke. He's left handed which is a plus.

I wish Armaan the best. He had to do what he felt was best. Would I have loved to have him at IU? Of course.

That's a big get! A 6'5 SG that likes to defend is REALLY hard to come by. The foundation of this team is looking solid.
Those stats alone, after all the clanged rims we’ve seen in recent years, are enough to get me excited about this kid.
Especially the FT%. The unsung killer stat!
He's not that good just looked good on our team. think Rick Calloway at Kansas.

How many games over the last 2 years would we have won with just better free throw shooting?
This commit completely changes the 2021 class. 3 very quality players. 2 shooters and a mobile big.
