that would be the @hits they won't come to bloomington but ncaa keeps wanting to match us up with them in tourney when they have all the cards..that would be giving them their way imo.

I would love for IU to play Kentucky in 2nd round of NCAA (round of 32)

The obvious reasons being (a) we make NCAA and (b) we win 1st round game.

I'd also be thrilled to play Kentucky. It is a rivalry that needs to be resumed. If we won there would be meltdown in Kentucky land.

Say what you want about CTC, but he came up with TWO great game plans against Kentucky. We got a win at home for the ages. And we got a great game in the NCAA that we lost. But the game was in the balance up until the 2 minute mark. Kentucky was something like a 70% FT for the year but made 90% and shot a lot of free throws that night.

screw ky never want to play them again till cal is gone.

UK shot 33 for 35 in the 2012 Sweet Sixteen. I doubt that many..

teams ever do that. That year, they averaged around 67% from the free throw line. If they had shot their average, they would have had 23/24 from the free throw line -- a different of 12/13. I think we lost by 14 (104-90). We were the first (and, I think, the only) team to score 90 on the pUKes that year.

Yes 35-37. I was at the game and still want to puke

1) I scream at the TV when Crean goes zone these days as we are simply not good at it and somebody inevitably gets a wide open 3 but if there was ever a game he should have went zone for awhile this was it. Lamb fouled both Oladipo and Sheehey out of this contest driving them to the basket (along with Kidd-Gilchrest roughing them up). We actually missed Verdell's long arms quite a bit. Thought it might have also baited Terence Jones into chucking those 3's that he started the game off with and exposed Teague's lack of an outside shot a bit more.

2) Zeller's second foul of the game was a TERRIBLE call. Big game WATFORD CAME TO PLAY!!!!

3) The first half was probably the fastest paced/ efficient game I have ever attended. (50-47 and both teams shooting just lights out).

4) I felt it was a really sad showing by Indiana fans. Yeah yeah it was Cat-lanta and all but still it seemed like the message to everybody back in Indiana was that tickets were going to be hard to get and not to bother coming. Besides the Saturday games of the Final Four (which can be tough to get) I have never had an issue whatsoever in grabbing tickets at a tournament venue. The next time we have a huge game like this our AD and the University in general should urge folks to get in their cars or on buses or roll Ric Flair style like I do and JUST GO, you can find tickets when you get there!

5) and YES count me in as somebody that would love to see an IU UK matchup in the second round this year (or whatever they try calling it now). Our team is severely flawed and always outcoached in the second half but probably one of the very few teams based on our shooters that if EVERYTHING broke right on a particual day could dump these Cats. That dream scenario could almost wash the taste of the seven year contract extension from my mouth.

Re: UK shot 33 for 35 in the 2012 Sweet Sixteen. I doubt that many..

pUKes shot 35-37 from the line, and the score was 102-90. So, with the same number of FTAs, if pUKes shoot their normal FT% in that game (0.723), then they hit only 27 (-8). If Tom Prichard hits his wide-open dunk, that 2 more (-10). I would love to have seen that game played within 2 points in the last couple of minutes because then, anything can happen (like the prior game in AH). But, it was not to be. Hard to believe we had 27 fouls called on us and pUKes hit 35-37. Still unbelievable.

By his actions...think Cal feels the same way 'bout IU

We might rough up another trailer park porn star.
