We have some friends coming into town who want to tailgate, but can't really afford tickets to the game. On the IU website, it states that you should have tickets to the game in order to tailgate, and that all tailgating is supposed to end 10 minutes after kickoff. Is this really enforced? And if so, where is the best place to tailgate without tickets. Thanks.

I attended the Delts tailgate with my son. A big guy the kids called Lurch came through the grass lots and shut everything down before kickoff. I also see Lurch working security at the basketball games.
I have never seen anyone come through the other lots, but we are in the game before kickoff. I don't see how they could kick everyone out of the pay lots. At halftime and until the game is over, there are clearly many tailgating.
That guy is all over the place. I've seen him at IU games, Pacers games, Colts games, Klipsch for concerts, etc. Terrifying looking guy so that probably makes him good at what he does.
The ticket rule applies nowhere.
