Stoner = good hands

Think Thornton and Westbrook will be

major contributors from day one next year. Throw in Booth and you have the beginnings of a decent (but young) trio of wide receivers. And I'd make Cobb catch 1,000 balls a day every day. He seems to have graduated from the Uwe Blab School of Catching, but the potential is there for him to become a player.

Unfortunately

our current crop of receivers appear to have much less talent
than the guys they replaced, which has contributed a lot to
our lack luster offensive performance. Doubt time will help
the receiver problem, you either catch the ball or you can't.

Re: Unfortunately

The crop they replaced was a experienced bunch with a ton of practice time.
I think the current crop has similar talent but it will be interesting to see if they're willing to work as hard as the previous one was.
Should they decide to I would expect them to be just as good at the end of their career as the previous group.
Remember the best thing about freshman is that they become sophomores.

Uwe Blab was a first-round NBA draft pick.

Re: Think Thornton and Westbrook will be

Exactly...but early in his career, Uwe could not catch a pass if his life depended on it (and with Knight as Coach it might have).

There is hope for Cobbs.
