I've been yakking and talking all yr about potential changes in Offensive play. Utilization of the TE in short yardage and around the goal line. We even saw Latham as a blocker in short yardage early on. I keep waiting for a pass to Darius around the goal line.
Utilization of the TE on first down. Particularly off play action. SOMETHING to take advantage of the defense thinking run. It has to be a safe pass that can generate 4+ yards. AND the TE has to catch it.
IU has been seeing a lot of run blitz action from the LB's and even secondary.
Because of that, IU can't simply turn and hand it off all the time. I'd like to see aggressive play from here on out.
Lastly, it's time the WR's step up and make plays. If they don't, I think you have to see if the freshmen can play. And if they can't, we get some new ones who can.
