On PBS's Amanpour and Company Steve Schmidt lays out how and why the Republican Party is not only rotten, but actually "EVIL". I personally don't believe in "evil" as something that is real, but many do. The way I look at it is more of psychopathy.

Not sure why they call him part of the Lincoln Project, as he's no longer there, but Schmidt has been a player in the Republican Party for his entire career...lastly as John McCain's Campaign Manager. There's no better example of a party "leaving him".

It’s not difficult to show the democrat party is EVIL.

Ok, let’s hear it.
Well, there's this...

Mad former DC power broker who got kicked to the curb and was/is butthurt that he is irrelevant. Trying to be relevant again. Yawn.
Sums it up pretty well. The McCains despise him, his organization is now a laughing stock.

Just a loser with an axe to grind, who now makes a living giving leftists orgasms because he criticizes the GOP.

No you're wrong, though psychopathy is one version of evil the other is when opportunists manipulate the slack jawed, socially inept and malcontent into first believing in absurdities (Qanon, Covid Hoax, Stop the Steal and too many other lies to mention) then to commit atrocities.. All throughout history the worst atrocities were committed with that dynamic, generally using race, religion or nationalism as the catalyst for the fear and hate.

So yea MAGA is without doubt evil because their goal is to radicalize the ignorant, malcontent and socially unacceptable using religion, race and nationalism as fear porn,.

but maybe not as evil as most in that category because their leader is grossly incompetent and everything he touches turns to shit. We were probably lucky that this movement towards fascism was led by an orange girdle wearing clown in poorly applied facial makeup.

I’m sorry they bullied you but you really need to forget about High School and those rotten fraternity boys.

Over my lifetime both these parties have run the US into ground and continue killing people with their war mongering imperialistic ways. They even start wars within the US. Then they come out and say we were wrong but could care less about the folks whose lives they have ruined. They spew out BS propaganda like we are the leaders of the free world and fighting for our freedom. Both parties need to go away and the political process needs revamped. What is the use of a primary if you have to vote for a Republocrat. They fight more with each other than the fracking ISIS, Taliban, whatever Muslim faction exists. They steal money from Americans and accomplish nothing except killing of innocent people overseas. They have screwed up the healthcare system and the education system. The federal govt. in this country is evil and a joke. I don't believe the current president has has any more intelligence than what can found in a pimple on Trump's ass.

Or maybe the evil empire federal govt. is demonized.

They have nothing.
You have nothing. Both parties and most politicians are equally bad. They make the jobs lifelong sucking of the government tit. Your president is a prime example. He sucks the government tit for years accomplishing nothing for the American people. His good for nothing blood sucking family makes money off the government tit.

Bonkers much?
I know you are but what am i....that the best you got? So you have no evidence of dem party being evil
After enduring the CPA exam, representing clients who lied to him for years etc, etc., it's disappointing how he responded.

I hope this isn't he how he handles IRS audits when agents are across the table from him. He used to be different.

He said "sucking at the government tit." What does that even mean??

Everybody in America gets government benefits whether they know it or not. The country was set up as an economic country (not royal, not religious) from the beginning.

I have great relationships with IRS and Indiana Department of Revenue Auditors.

A couple years ago I emailed Indiana Department of Revenue Commissioner Krupp to compliment two IDR employees that have been a great help to our office. The employees received special accommodations from the Commissioner. I received nice emails from all three. I done similar things for IRS employees. I appreciate good service from these agencies and try to let them know when they go beyond the call to help us.

I’ve built my practice on quality work and the best service. I will continue that until I retire which I hope to do after my divorce.

Rockfish taught me long ago this place isn’t much more than a place to receive insults.

A few years ago I found out a poster on the Premium Basketball Board lost his young wife to cancer. He moved
Chicago to NY City. We communicated some privately and followed each other on Twitter. I felt sorry for what he was going through. I used my Varsity Club points and got him two tickets at MSG, center court for the IU/Connecticut game a few years ago. I mail them to him as a gift.

Sometime during the Trump term while we were privately discussing Trump he got angry, stopped the discussion and blocked me on Twitter.

Pretty much all of politics is evil.

I can understand his reaction if your private discussion attitude is anything close to your forum posts

Good for you. I mean that.

You wrote that "this place" is "a place to receive insults, " but in recent weeks your posts have shown us you're using "this place" to deliver insults -- lots of them.

You used to be more friendly and more informative. Now, you sound exactly like your fellow disruptors ________, _________, __________ and _________.

Your credibility used to put you in your own category, but now you come across as just one of the other nobodies.

sad.

I had a similar experience - but as to McConnell. A friend of over 20 years ghosted me for refusing to commit to vote against McConnell. Not for saying I would vote FOR him - I was still merely undecided. It was almost a year before the election.

“I can’t be friends with someone who thinks like that.”

Dumping people out of your life over politics is the first step toward beating them in the street over politics.

You should be ashamed Hickory. You people just spent 4 years calling people racists and Nazis for no reason, painting everyone who disagreed to any extent about any issue with the same brush, and hating like professionals, and now you criticize people who merely fight back against your McCarthy-ite internet bullying. When will you beat someone in the street for having an idea you don’t like? Are you ready to kill yet? Got a yabbut ready for street murder?

We really need to let go of each other's throats in today's political environment. It was political genius to schedule elections every 2 years so we can correct course, if needed. Or double-down, if needed. It's really not necessary to break-off relationships or storm the Capitol.

Stoll is just putting in terms Hickory would understand.

Have you ever seen any of Hickory's responses? They would make a 3rd grader proud.

As the hotel night clerk told me after I got back from the game last night: "If they think that was an insurrection, they ain't seen nothin' yet".

You don't have to worry about Hickory physically attacking anyone.

Pussies avoid personal violence.

Unfortunately we don’t correct course. For the most the same folks return or if they’re replaced the replacements fall in love with the power and money in DC and forget why they ran to get elected.
