I hve been waiting to see Walker and Sparks while the big excitement has been centered on Ware and Mgbako. Sparks and Walker offer experience to challenge the new and less experienced front line players. We assume Ware, Mgbako and Reneau will start. It wouldn't surprise me for Woody to start Sparks as an experienced player like Miller Kopp. It's hard to imagine Ware or Reneau not starting.

Does Woody go with Sparks with 62 career starts?

Walker has played in 9 NCAA tournament games the last 2 seasons.

He lost a lot of minutes last season due to injury.

His soph season, once he was inserted into the starting lineup around the mid point of Miami's season, he averaged 30+ mpg albeit on a rather poor Miami team.


I'm excited for both Walker and Sparks to help these Hoosiers push tempo by playing their asses off when they get on the court.

JG was one of the nicest guys I met off the court. However, one of the worst Bball IQs I have ever seen. So much athleticism.... He would jump on a pump fake at the top of the key, the guard would drive around him, miss a lay up, and get his own put back. All this before JG came down. He had a 45 inch vertical though!!!
