Im not at all familiar with their rosters. Does this say anything about the strength of youth soccer regionally or are these teams built from a national recruiting base? Curious to read anyone’s perspective in the know.

Go IU today!

I don't know too much about UK and UL, but IU has a mix of in-state kids (Gutjahr, Glass, Buckmaster, Thomas) to go along with several recruits each from Chicago and St. Louis-which are the real talent rich areas of the Midwest. They also pull in high level recruits nationally (Dorsey-CO, Rennicks-MA, Muse- WA). The roster has always been like that-even back to Jerry's years. There's also a lot of talent in ACC area-Carolinas, Florida, etc... I'm guessing UK and UL go there for a lot of their recruits.

So you don't think there's a theme to all three regional teams having great programs right now in terms of regional talent?
