Why is Brad Stevens THE ANSWER to IU basketball woes?
It's not like he's taken the NBA by storm in the eight years he's been there. Pretty mediocre 338-266 record with the Celtics. If he's the genius coach he's purported to be on this board, where are the divisional titles? The conference titles? The championships?
As a longtime IU fan I've suffered as much as anyone over the past 20 years, and I'm as swept up into the hype, hope and fantasy of Stevens as anyone on this board. But I have to ask, what is he going to do different to bring us back to basketball relevance?
And is he the only one that can?
