Archie’s quotes made me feel like here we go again. They both aren’t playing and rob hasn’t done anything all of October, awesome. 11 scholarships might come in to play with this injury prone team. Who woulda thought??? Will be no excuse tho.

Purely speculation, but a "lower abdomenal" injury that puts you on the sideline is a hernia, and I hope if that is the case then he has had it repaired by now. IU cannot afford to have Rob miss games.

Um....a Hernia surgery requires a mesh put in, and that takes like 10-12 weeks to heal. So let’s hope he doesn’t have a Hernia.

Which is why I said "repaired", because it takes a while for recovery.

It would not necessarily be a hernia. More likely a groin muscle strain or tear. The problem is these typically take several weeks to heal and can also sometimes require surgery

???

who else has had this type of injury?
I know it is difficult for many to read between the lines, and everything must be taken exactly as written in the literal form.... But what the poster meant was, injuries seem to be mysterious in nature with no rhyme or reason on how they happened. No timetable is ever talked about in a return. Vague statements and injuries are the name of the game for IU bball.

No. Lol.

That was my thought as well. If it requires surgery, I would have wanted it done now so he could work his way back to health. Not playing all October then deciding to have treatment would be bad. A lot of pain and wasted time. Do we need new doctors?

I want what is best for the players long term instead of something they will have to play with.

Getting Green healthy seems to the #1 priority. This forces Durham and Franklin to take on more PG responsibilities. Damezi, its now or never for you.

Now we know why Rob and Devonte have been absent, I'm curious why Cooper wasn't used in the scrimmage when Durham went down. Seems bad to force your last healthy guard to play extended time in a scrimmage. Might be good to see how he can play unless Archie has another plan.

Now there is a built in excuse if they have a bad season. Something is seriously wrong with IU’s physical training and medical staff. I hope McRobbie/Glass aren’t going cheap there.

Since we’re on the subject of injuries, you can really tell how DD’s achilles injury has taken a toll. His body hasn’t changed in two and half years. His legs still look too small for his body.
