I thought it was an unsportsmanlike penalty for doing that? Or did they change the rules?

That was my first thought as I was watching. This is what you get when you violate one of the Ten Commandments of Football. If you are fortunate enough to get to the End Zone and Score, look like you have been there before.

Iowa fan here, and I agree, very stupid play by Smith-Marsette.....VERY STUPID. I don't think Kirk Ferentz is very happy with him.

Before June 2020 KF would have had quite a bit to say about that play. Since then he will have to just accept it.

Does anyone recall if Kellen Lewis got flagged at Iowa for his flip into the Endzone??
