Shoutout to JH Tevis

That kid won't get the headlines from last night that others will, but I thought that kid played a great game, A couple of big plays that we desperately needed. Very glad he chose to come to IU.

Go Hoosiers!
He has veteran savvy that I think the coaches see and trust that he will do a lot of little things and dirty work stuff you need. And don’t forget he is older and a great team leader too.

High motor, very disruptive, fundamentally sound. Great addition up front on D.

I think both he and the ole miss transfer (Lucas) were solid and took plenty of snaps so guys like Sio could play quality snaps too and no one really dropped off too bad.

Yes, I also thought that Nick James gave some good plays in there for a freshman.

Yep. I was pleased to see him playing like that in number 47. Seems fitting somehow.

Having the ability to rotate along DL is huge to keep pressure on (and adding Head back will give even more depth)

They weren’t perfect against the run but I do think they won’t be static but will rather keep improving weekly.

I truly believe before it’s all said and done, this is going to not look as bad from a run defense perspective as it seems. UI is a running team and Brown is an NFL talent. I wouldn’t be surprised if they beat up several B1G teams on the ground this year.
