I didn't realize he was being forced to play PGA events! #stopprogolferoppression!

Don't let the door hit you in the ass, Sergio!
the guy is just so immenently unlikable. As charismatic as Seve was, Jose was quiet and unassuming, Rahm is determined and methodical... all the Spanish douchebaginess got saved up for Sergio. Much like Colin Montgomerie, hard to understand how someone who seems generally mild mannered can be so hatable!

He always acts like a jerk, though it should be pointed out that this comment was in reaction to a PGA Tour rules official who put him on the clock for finding a lost ball and arguably started the clock before he (as the rules specify) "arrives in the vicinity of where the ball landed."

You have to admit that some of the rules officials are a little too full of themselves as well.

Garcia became frustrated with a PGA Tour rules official who assessed him a penalty for taking too much time while trying to find his ball. Players are allotted three minutes to find lost balls once they arrive at the vicinity of where it landed. Garcia argued that he hadn't started searching until he crossed a river.

not only did he lose his ball, but when I replayed it, he lost a river too!

I was about to mention this. Not excusing Sergio’s assholish behavior, but in this case he was in the right. The tour admitted the official screwed it up.

I really do not think three minutes isn't long enough to look for/find the ball after an errant shot. Five minutes would be better, imho.

Golf and tennis are the only sports where you don’t draw a salary. I just don’t see why people are against that. All the sport leagues with guaranteed deals, guys are still performing at the highest level. It’s a silly argument.
