Possible Impact Player// Swiss Army Knife type guy?????

I like the concept that we could actually have another slot receiver hidden in the backfield when we might choose to utilize him as such...

Lucas will be a weapon for IU, we will see how he is used to attack defenses in the Illinois game to open the season. He will become one of the favorites of the fans soon.

Lucas has the potential to give DCs nightmares gameplanning IU. That is always an advantage for the O when a player enters the game with Lucas's speed and ability to change direction. He can leave people just standing there, or getting their legs all twisted up trying to adjust to his fakes.

Yes, he will be a nightmare for DCs especially with the other speedier players IU now has on the field. DC won't be able to double team any receiver as it opens up Shivers to have running seams, Camper on the outside blowing past corners, McCollough giving DBs fits with his height and moves, Matthews with his speed and moves, Barner with his speed at TE and size. These players will open other players to make their job easier. It should also make the OL players look better as defense have focus on the receivers to try and not get beat so often. Our OL should get more vanilla sets and be able to double team the front 6 wherever the best players are on the front 6.

The secret on this offense is how many skill players are faster and not known heading into the season. Lucas, Shiver, DMc, Matthews, Camper, Barner, Holloman, and others they haven't seen at IU in the positions they have now. Coach Bell has some real athletes with top speed to us to go after defense and I want to see the job he does here at IU. People think IU can only in three or fewer games will be shocked this season.

How will our five OL double team the opposing front six? That’s not how Bell will run the offense.

The more I think about it they really didn’t have speed like this last year.
