This was a damn fine team. Crap happens.

Also, they did share the regular-season title.

They lost the national championship to the three time defending champion in overtime. They are one of best defensive teams IU has ever fielded. Nothing about this season lessens any of their accomplishments and they can proudly take their place in line as one of IU's great squads.

And they only had 1 senior in the starting lineup (Lillard). This team is loaded next year assuming all the underclassmen come back.
