Obviously our big question mark next year will be at the QB position, but just about everyone agrees that the talent level on the roster is much better than in years past, and much of it is still pretty young. With that, why does everyone think that a coaching change after the year will send us into another rebuilding mode? With as much talent as we have returning (by IU standards at least) if we get a coach in here who can put them in the right position, with the right scheme, with discipline, and the ability to manage a game, why do we think it would be starting over?
Get someone in here who can make the simple changes, get the D competent and manage a game, get to 7 wins and the recruits will notice and the recruiting drop off should not be that great.
Who is that person? Not sure as I have not looked yet, but if the talent level is the best it has been in many years and the results are not there on the field and we are making the same coaching mistakes as in years past, why do we think a change is a bad thing?
