Sampson James transferring again

But wait..., that can't be..., what's that do to the narrative that all of our really good players have left for p u...?

R O T F I L 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Too bad he didn't wait until they installed their offensive game plan for Penn $t, he might have had a shot at a last scholarship there... 😉 Hopefully he's taken great notes on their Spring installs..., maybe ISU will find an open scholarship for him... 😎

His next school, “Transfer James” will arrive with both IU and PU playbooks in securely in hand. If he transfers enough, he may collect one from the whole conference.

When he left IU, somebody close to the program told me about what a difficult upbringing this young man had. I don't want to give all the details here, but he's had it awfully rough-think Caleb Swanigan from Purdue if you're familiar with his story. Let's go easy on SJ and hope he figures things out.

This made me think how is his brother doing at WSU? I just looked at their roster and didn’t see him and can’t find any news about him transferring.

Anyone know?

Regardless, he only offers terrible optics with scholarship actions. Starting to look like a questionable future in FB and in life. I suspect defiance for anyone offering sound advice.

Does that leave Him with only 1 Year of Eligibliity remaining?
Two years, tops, and that would include the bonus year afforded by Covid. He should’ve stayed with us and kept working. After Stevie left and Carr and Baldwin both had their issues, he would’ve had plenty of chances to earn playing time. I think we realized some time ago why OSU turned him loose during the recruiting process.

Go Hoosiers.

2019- true FR
2020- true SO (free COVID year)
2021- RS-SO (transfer year at PU)
2022- RS-JR (transfer year wherever he lands)
2023- RS-SR

So yeah, looks like you’re right. I hate having to write these things down to figure what class someone is in, lol

edit* on second thought he might have an additional year because of the COVID year.

If Roberson would have stayed he would have been starting QB. I can’t recall who but know a few RB’s would have seen playing time too. We see this a lot: Impatience versus “keep working and be ready” because injuries happen in college football and if you are there and ready, your opportunity to take the job and not let go will come. Again feel like Sampson may have other issues and just hope he can get his life figured out in general.
