2016 Indiana signee Ryan Smith, an offensive guard out of Cincinnati, suffered a lisfranc injury and won't be with the team this fall, Kevin Wilson said today.
He's attending class but will join the team at semester to preserve five years. Basically, him not joining the team allows this year to be a redshirt year without it actually counting as a redshirt. In that sense, he joins the class of 2017.
