We're prone to giving up the big play but other than the 3 carries for 195 that Elliott ran off, the young and talented D was pretty stout...on his other 20 carries, Elliott was bottled up as well as we could have hoped for with only 79 yards. They also kept Jones in check on all of the zone reads.
Work to do (clearly), but I was really impressed with their resolve. I also think this doesn't bode well for Hackenburg and PSU because he is no threat to run at all. Hopefully the dinged up guys can get back...
